UNS N08020 | Carpenter 20 CB3 Nickel‑Base Alloy
UNS N08020 (Carpenter 20 CB3) is a well‑known nickel‑based alloy engineered to resist corrosion from sulfuric acid, nitric acid and mixed corrosive media. The balanced addition of copper, molybdenum and chromium delivers excellent performance against pitting, crevice corrosion and stress‑corrosion cracking, outperforming ordinary 316L under aggressive chemical conditions.
This alloy possesses good mechanical properties, ductility and weldability. It can be processed via cutting, bending and welding following standard alloy operating procedures. We supply diversified product forms: steel plate, sheet, coil, round bar, flat bar, seamless pipe and matching pipe fittings. Available finishes include hot‑rolled pickled and cold‑rolled bright surfaces.
